Well, we have reached our one year marker with our new RE/MAX office in Red River. When we started this venture, we didn't realize that we had another new addition on the way--our son, Michael who is 9mths old! Let's just say it has been an amazing year--a new baby and a new business! We could not be more pleased with our decision to join forces with RE/MAX. In our first year, we closed more transactions than any other agent in town. For us, the summer is already proving to be busier than this time lat year. Our increase in cost of gas, TX/OK oil boom and our proximity to these areas, makes Red River a prime location for once Colorado vacationer's who now will cut back by coming to Red River. We have a very small inventory of homes compared to other mountain towns similar to ours. Our prices are still very affordable compared to the CO and CA resort towns. It's a great time to buy in Red River. Already a home-owner here, buy more. Really, God is not making anymore mountains and ours are about as pretty as they get. New Real Estate Office Reaches for the Sky with RE/MAX

March 12, 2007, Red River, New Mexico--A new real estate company has opened its doors in Red River, New Mexico. Co-owners and soon to be husband and wife, Sherrie Bullington and Stan Mileski of Red River have affiliated with RE/MAX International to operate RE/MAX Enchanted Circle. RE/MAX International, a real estate franchise network, has more than 6,755 offices in 67 countries. RE/MAX Enchanted Circle will serve home buyers and sellers in Angel Fire, Eagle Nest, Red River, Questa and Taos. In addition they handle property management and nightly rentals in Red River.

The foundation helps veterans with housing, transportation, education, job training, employment and other needs." Mileski is in the process of creating a Veterans Memorial in Red River.

Bullington is a native of Red River and has lived in the Enchanted Circle off and on for over twenty two years. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a B.S. degree in Restaurant, Hotel Management. She was a former manager for Hyatt Hotels at DFW Airport, Texas. Her dream of returning to the mountains came true in 1994. In 1999, she was hired as the Communications Manager for Angel Fire Resort, handling all aspects of public relations and internet marketing. She received her real estate sales license in 2002 and began her real estate career with Bush Realtors. She later helped open the Coldwell Banker office in Angel Fire, prior to returning to Red River.

RE/MAX Enchanted Circle Reaches New Heights

3, 2009, Red River, New Mexico—Sherrie Mileski, owner/broker of RE/MAX Enchanted Circle has just been named the #1 selling agent in the State of New Mexico for the month of February 2009. Mileski sold more than any of the other 350 New Mexico RE/MAX agents as well as being the top selling agent in Red River, year to date. Not only has Mileski grown her business in the past year, but her family as well, including a new marriage and baby.

"Despite a less than stellar economy, our company and our family have had a fantastic year", said Mileski. “The downturn is having a positive effect on the Red River market. The majority of our second home buyers are from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico. The benefit of savings on fuel, travel time, taxes and purchase price are some of the many reasons why our market is stable if not up from last year. Those who once vacationed in Colorado are looking closer to home. In addition, many homes make excellent sources of rental income while at the same time allowing the owner to enjoy their investment.”

Sherrie is a native of Red River and has lived in the Enchanted Circle off and on for almost 25 years. She has been working in the hospitality industry since the age of fifteen. She is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas with a B.S. degree in Restaurant, Hotel Management. Prior to receiving her real estate license, she was a manager for Hyatt Hotels and the Communications Manager for Angel Fire Resort. “The hotel management education and work experience that I have received goes hand in hand with our vacation market. We are looking to expand the property management side of our business. It is something I have always wanted to do and is the reason I chose hotel management as my education and career choice.”

The office expanded this month with the addition of Nina Elmshaeuser as the licensed office manager and Rob Swan as sales associate. Elmshaeuser began her real estate career in Red River in 2003. Most recently she was the area consultant for the Red River Chamber of Commerce. Swan has lived and worked in Red River for many years. He is the former owner of Bull of the Woods Saloon, New Mexico Adventure Company and President of the Red River Chamber of Commerce. A true adventurist, Swan is a finisher of the 2008 Baja 1000 off road race motorcycle division and a self proclaimed real estate investor and world traveler. Swan, wife Cathleen, and son Bodie live in Red River.

Mileski, formerly of Annapolis, MD and Santa Barbara, CA fell in love with Red River when he arrived on assignment with Easyriders magazine in 1996 to cover the Red River Motorcycle Rally.
